FlashScreens
| FlashScreens is a "virtualscreens" manager. The program allows you to have a slew of programs open atone time without cluttering up your desktop or the taskbar. You can specifya screen for your word processing tasks, programming tasks, internetbrowsing, so on and so forth. Whatever window is opened in the currentscreen will disappear when you switch to another screen. Unlike in othervirtual screens programs, the window disappears from the taskbar also! Youcan move windows from screen to screen, copy windows to other screens, andspecify which windows will traverse all the screens. Furthermore, eachscreen can be set to a different resolution and each has its own"QuickStart" toolbar, a handy alternative to the Start Menu where you cancreate shortcuts to your programs and launch multiple programs and documentswith a single click. Flashscreens also provides handy shortcuts to commonlyused functions such as starting the screen saver or clipboard viewer ortemporarily hiding all open windows so you can get at the desktop quicklyand easily.
